Hello beautiful people! I'm thrilled to announce we have official confirmation that Rocky will be playing at the Mounds Theatre at 11pm every 1st, 3rd, and 5th from June 7th through September 20.
Yes, you read right... this is a trial run to prove we can make them enough money to afford the movable screen they'd need to buy to keep us longer. (Long story.)
So we are asking you to tell us what sort of show you want. Yes, let's have a fantastic blow-out on opening night. But Rocky is about more than just a movie, and even more than a place to dress weird and maybe get laid. It's a place that can always be home for us Freaks, no matter what sort of freak you are. At RHPS, you can always be yourself. And the cast thinks the Mounds will be especially home-y. You're going to freakin' love this place!
But we want to give you lots and lots of reasons to come home every coupla weeks. :) Tell us what you love about our show, what you don't like, and what you've never seen but want to. We are spiffing up our costumes, and maintaining our rehearsals, to give you the best show we can think of, but we'd like to give you the bes show we can *all* think of. Then Rocky can continue to be fun, new, transgressive, and relevant. And immortal. :)
